What's causing my headunit to show & play all songs as duplicates on my USB? See picture below. It's fairly annoying. It does this with all USB's. Also, how do I fix it?

When mine does that, I usually just rename the usb drive on my PC, and it forces it to rescan the drive when I plug it in. So far that works for me.

I experienced that problem once also. Later I copied my music folder to a new usb drive and it eliminated that problem, never experienced it again. Similar to what ShadoChaser experienced also.

I have the same thing going on with some songs showing 10-15 times. I don't use a USB, I use my phone so don't think renaming is an option.

If I select a particular artist then it does play each song by that artist I think 4 of 5 times like your display is showing, but when I select a named folder it only play the songs in that folder once. Example I have a folder named Jazz with about 60 different songs and it only play them once, but if I go to artist and select one of the Jazz artist it then will display and play the songs from that artist about 4 or 5 times back to back similar to what your photo is showing.

Mine does it every 2 weeks or so. it also kills the shuffle option too!
