Dealer allocation

With all the changes..color options, allocation issues, dealer markups. Are there dealers out there with available allocations? If so, please ping me. I'd like to look at other options and i am not paying above MSRP. I will patiently wait...
I'm in NC or VA, depending on the day of the week and my dealer in NC doesn't have allocation right now. I have an order but no allocation available at this time.

Can you clarify? You put in an order knowing your dealer would not get an allocation?
OR.... Your just not happy with the fact that you have allocation but it has not been picked up by GM yet?

, I'm in the same situation as I refuse to pay over MSRP and all the dealers in my area are charging over.... so one of the smaller dealerships whos been around for about 50 years, seem confident they could get me one if they had to call in a favor from another dealership... So I put down a small deposit, and placed an order.... guess we will see.... I really would like to get one sooner than later, but If i have to wait something else might catch my eye.... either way, I'm upgrading the SS to something
