Ordering cars questions - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Once the initial batch of orders is filled and GM makes these cars for the dealers to have on the lots for sale, is a customer still able to go into a dealer and place a specific order or will he have to settle for what is out there already?

I am not getting this car in the initial batch, but I will get one, and when I do, I want to be able to be sure I can get what I want.

Yeppers....I cant remember what the official name of the program is but yes they have it

As long as you have the credit and the factory is going you can order what you want. How long you have to wait is the unknown.

You've always been able to special order any car. Most folks settle for what is on the lot. In most cases, there isn't the emotional factor there is with the new Camaro and people want to drive home today in their new car, and the dealer want you to also. Many promotions require you to take deliver from current dealer inventory, so compromising on a color or option is often worth it.
