My car is Vin #1002. 2SS/RS.
Ordered 10/13/08 9:00am
Built 3/24/09
Shipped..........?

So I have been getting mixed reports from GM and my dealer for weeks now regarding my car. No one has told me anything other then they will get back to me and no one has. My car has supposedly been shipped 4 times prior to this incident I am writing about now.

Yesterday I called GM to check for a status update regarding my baby sitting in quality control.

They told me that it was no longer in QC and was certainly on its way already, although no ETA could be given.

Today I speak with my dealer who then calls the GM district rep. He checks on my car and, you guessed it, IN QC still.

So now they don't know when it will leave QC but when it does its a maximum of 2 weeks til delivery then. Key phrase there when/if it leaves QC...

So built 3/24 and still waiting.....

Props to all those who have you cars already, can't say i'm not jealous.

Just thought i'd share my story involving the greatest customer service company our good ole America has to offer.

your title is pretty misleading. If I wanted to read something negative about GM i'd click on a negative title. Geeze.

perhaps you would rather get a car that had shody door panels, windows indexing incorrectly, noisey/rattling over bumps and just might catch fire when the battery cable rubs through?

i wouldn't!
