V6 Supercharger

With IPF getting out of the FI game, ,what options exist to SC the LFX V-6 ?

None currently, but Faberge makes a twin turbo setup.

Not a big fan of the expense associated with the Twin Turbos

Nearly the same price as the supercharger.

Yeah you don't have to buy all the extras like boost controller and afr gauge. Just run the kit as is @7psi and forget about it, you already have the big SS rear diff so you're good there. If you work on cars at all you can install it yourself (16 hours) and be all in around 6-7K depending on the deal you get.

Honestly I hardly ever turn my boost up, unless I'm at the track or just have to have max power for some reason... I just leave it off and run on the wastegates(vacuum operared).

There is the top mount option still available. Works better for the LFX as that system is more tuner friendly.

If I had the LFX I would have put more consideration into this set-up. However knowing the LLT was having difficulty with tuning, I stayed away. Now I am just waiting to go after a 2017 V8 for my new fun ride. Still keeping my LLT for my daily driver thou.

It's the RX top mount supercharger. You can see a lot more on it on the bowtie v6 forum.. even though there's hardly any activity over there. Supposedly they are out in the wild daily driving with no problems. For some reason we just don't hear much about them. I have no idea what kind of power they make or what kind of 1/4 mile times they're putting up.

Most won't want it because it doesn't fit under the stock hood.

I don't believe that they ended up making this kit. It was one-off and they did not make them for the masses.

It seems as if it really wouldn't be hard to make a procharger type kit for the V6- there's tons of room. I won't do the twin turbo kit because the placement of the intakes/filters etc.

correct on both accounts, however, RX has been bought out and moved over to another parent company.

Not true. This are being produced, with good results on the LFX.

Not much has been posted for HP and 1/4 times as of yet.

Supposedly Procharger has a kit coming, or so one of their dealers has told me anyway. No idea if it'll actually make it to market though.
