It was sunny with temps in the upper 70's low 80's and my car was in the garage today.

I drove all around on backroads and highways in my winter beater yesterday, on a scouting mission. There weren't really many signs of salt on the roads - a bit of white dust on the shoulders here and there. It's supposed to be sunny all week and hit the upper 50s to lower 60s for the first time.

Does anyone want to try to talk me out of taking her out of storage for a birthday drive? I'm dying here.

Let me put it to you this way. You only live once. If it’s going to put a smile on your face, go for it! Oh...and Happy Birthday!

Had it out today for the first real test since my heads and cam package was done last Fri. First ...it's way faster then I thought it would be. 3200 Circle D stall with 391 really gets it moving. 10 mins into the ride a kid in a Subaru Wrx tried flexing on me a bit. His ego and my ears were hurting all aft.I had my window 1/2 way down. 2nd...its loud....really loud. I like it but I'm not so sure about others. And the drive thru for my coffee has me yelling into the speaker trying to order. Over all...love it.

Hell yea sounds like a great time to me, my title mod is coming This summer. Once the happens I’m gonna start doing some more to mine.

I pussed out and didn’t take mine out this weekend. Weather was great all weekend but I found my self driving my 72 K20 the whole time. I’m gonna take blue out next Saturday for sure for a couple hundred mile cruise.

Hold on, I'll go out and take a few pictures of the undercarriage of my winter cars.

Seriously it's supposed to be in the 60's around here next week so I'll probably take mine out after I put it back under full coverage, but it's like when you wash a car and the birds seek it out - as soon as I take it out we'll probably have an April snowstorm.

I used to not be that concerned about driving cars in the winter but the salt really does a number on our cars. My jeep looks pristine up top but the undercarriage is almost solid orange and I use the so-called undercarriage wash religiously during winter.

(Damn, the guy down the street just started revving up his silly loud Mustang - Disregard everything I posted - Mine's is coming out as soon as I brush my teeth!)

I pulled the cover off and took mine to Katech last week. Kooks long tube headers with high flow cats, ported throttle body and a dyno tune. The weather was lovely here Saturday so I took it out for a bit to enjoy it! Needs a wash now!

It's got to rain hard for a couple of days to wash all the salt off the roads and then be dry for a couple of days before mine comes out. It's tough to do, but it's never been wet. I haven't even had to ever wash it. Just use a spray bottle and soft cloth to wipe the dust off and little road splatters. It's a sickness, the wife say.

Omg, you're worse than me - and that makes me happy!

Ugh! Just when I'd convinced myself to take her out this week, I came across two areas today with heavy salt on them and puddles in the travel lanes. Back to the drawing board...
