Hello yall. Bought a AGP TT kit from a fellow member here. Lookin to complete the install this month on the SS.

It's the V2 54/57 kit.

Outside of injectors, what are most going max before doing any internals? And I have mishomoto aluminum radiator. Do these fit with the TT plumbing? I called over to AGP and they were super cool, sending me over directions, but couldn't answer the radiator question.

Thanks everyone. Lookin forward to Twins on the SS!

I can’t answer that exact question. But unless the mishomto is over sized in width, and it would have to be well over sized, there should be no issues. Just going off my install.

I went with a much thicker radiator and had to route the passenger side cold side piping on the outside of the frame to the intercooler. I basically mirrored the drivers side. There was no way the "snake" was going to fit with the thicker radiator I had made by Wizard Cooling. You won't know until you try.

I have the DeWitt with shrouded fans (bigger than the Mishomoto) and the snaky part fit a bit tighter, but still fits.

It is wider than stock.

Good info.

True, was just curious if there were any adapters or cutting needed. I'm novice when it comes to turbos. Been around N/A and S/C's all my life. Outside of my power stroke, no turbo experience.

No, you'll just need some new piping and couplers because the ones with the kit don't account for the passenger side going over the frame rail. There was no welding required when I did it.

You're going to love turbos. I have had all three forms of forced induction* - centrifugal, turbos, and a PD blower. Turbos are my favorite overall.

* I am not counting nitrous

Awesome brother, I appreciate it. I've done everything BUT turbos, so I am pretty stoked to get this build completed. If life would ever slow down for a second...

Has anyone painted their stock headers with this kit?

I did the Jet-Hot red on the manifolds and black on the heat shields. I thought they looked pretty sweet when I installed them. This pic is for when they were removed for the LSX install, a little rough but still decent.

Sent off to Jet-Hot for the Extreme 2500 Flat Red and I think the Extreme 2000 Black for the shields. The red will "pink" up when gets hot but return to the red cooling off.

Awesome awesome! Ima call them and get a quote. I thought about doing it myself, but after the disaster with the LT's and red VHT I used, don't think I'll try it again.

Thanks for the info.

So, kind of slowed my build a little. I was stuck between building the bottom end and going all in, or keeping it stock.

Ran into a guy at the local BWW that had an AGP setup as well. We had a couple beers and discussed our cars. He said he's putting down 701 to the wheels with stock internals, which I believe, based on what I've seen here. Then he told me he has stock injectors and fuel pump. Basically, he has exhaust, the 54/57 kit and a tune. Does this seem legit?

I didn't want to argue, but based no what I've seen over the years, I thought about 5-6psi was max with a bone stock fuel system, which equals somewhere around 600 to the wheels. Am I off? Please experts, chime in!
