Dyno numbers
I see a lot of numbers for tuning on a dyno.
The fastest car at camaro fest was on a procharger. I never see these turbo cars winning races againsnt an equally prepared car. I know turbos make power. I just don't get the number of people who are enamoured with their beloved dyno number. Show me some 0-60 time not having time to spool up, show me something. I'm on the turbo band wagon. Wish I could tune the things , but come on man. There is a turbo track time thread and nobody is keeping that breathing. Just saying. So don't be getting mad and yelling at me. Just post on the track thread or even some street numbers . |

A good example is dreksnot, he has been beating sc cars that make more hp than he does, he is on a stock block where the one sc car is forged and with nos, in addition runs a drag tire set up (honestly this is a awesome race to watch its really close), with turbo cars it's all in the set up, it's easier to go fast with a sc car, turbo car require more setup and dialing in time and if your a manual a 2 step is a must

If/when I go TT (not SC) I won't be going to the strip. No interest in it. I will track it on road courses.

My 2011 SS is a stock engine L99/6L90 that makes 730whp and runs 10.6 at 4000+DA. No slicks and skinnys, 100% street set-up. May be a little slower that some of these negative DA guys have run on their track cars with way more mods, but certainly very fast for so little mods.

Is there more documented results? Not meaning to hijack this thread, if this bothers the OP i dont mind going into the "agp kit times" thread and reading your answers. |

Does he have the agp kit or something else. I will say for the potential of turbos there are not very many good times out there. Most people go full race car or streetcar it and don't launch hard
