I'm getting "Service Stabilitrak" notice every time I start the car, but:
  • the notice goes away as soon as the engine is ignited;
  • when I push the car a bit, DIC states "Stabilitrak active";
  • the battery has been replaced;
  • I'm getting 12.4 - 12.6 V at rest and 14.3 V when the car is started.
I guess the wheel sensors could be broken, I will check them next time the car is on the lift.

According to the owner's manual, the message might come sporadically, in which case the documentation states to shut the ignition off and start again, but I get "Service Stabilitrak" consistently before starting the engine, although sometimes the car will just ding without displaying "Service Stabilitrak"; but it always dings at contact, no matter what I do.

Barring broken wheel sensors, and the battery which I replaced, what else could it be?

I had this happen when I installed headers. A spark plug wire was loose causing the same error message. Check that all of your spark plug wires on on tight.
