FS: 87 IROC-Z 305/5-speed (SOLD)

Have to move on from my '87 in order to move on short notice. Not what I want to do but it is what it is. I'd love to keep and fix but it hasn't been out much in the last couple years and does a lot of sitting, and I don't have the time or $ to do what I want to it. Sold as-is. Located in Knoxville, TN

Suspension / Steering / Brakes
  • Hotchkis TVS system (Weld-in SFC's, R LCA's, F/R sways & links)
  • Hotchkis 4th gen STB
  • new inner/outer tie rods, centerlink, idler, and steering box
  • Astrovan steering shaft and shaft bushing
  • C5 front brake upgrade (Bigbrakeupgrade.com)
  • BMR adjustable panhard bar
  • Eibach Sportline lowering springs
  • KYB GR2 shocks/struts

Driveline
  • 4th gen aluminum driveshaft
  • Energy suspension poly motor mounts & trans mount

Exterior
  • 6yr old paint, decals, and emblems
  • 91-92 Hood blisters
  • door seals replaced at the time of paint
  • New tires (Uniroyal tigerpaws)
  • 18" chrome IROC replica wheels
  • fog lights removed

Interior
  • Recaro LS seats with power driver, rears recovered to match
  • Pro-5.0 short throw shifter
  • Kenwood headset and speakers
  • Front & Rear carpeting
  • Door panels
  • Lloyd's front / rear matts.

Performance & Engine
  • Dyno Don 1 3/4" shorty headers
  • Magnaflow high-flow cat
  • Magnaflow stainless 3" cat back
  • New AC Delco distributor, rotor, cap & pickup coil, & ignition coil
  • MSD streetfire plug wires
  • MadeForYou wire loom
  • C4 magnesium valve covers
  • Throttle body airfoil

Misc
  • New battery (4/1/18)
  • Air conditioning is removed. AC Delete box is in place.

Problems
  • T-tops leak
  • engine has a few leaks
  • Rear leaks
  • Cylinder 5 appears to have ring issues (valve seals done some 7 years ago)
  • driver side window switch is temperamental
  • passenger side window is slow
  • Some intermittent noise in the trans or throwout bearing. Unsure which.
  • Exhaust leaks on driver side at Y-pipe
  • Front bumper has a number of nicks from highway debris. It could use a re-spray
  • T-top locks are M.I.A. Car didn't have them when I bought it, I never replaced them.
  • Carpet in the spare tire area is a tore up at the bottom

I think your asking price is about $3k too low. Put the rest of the stripes on it (The yellow/black ones look best on white imo), and post it on some dedicated 3rd gen sites. Usually the heavily modded cars don't bring much money compared to the bone-stock unmolested cars, but your mods are all tasteful. Very nice car!
