Beadlock
At what point is beadlock a good idea? They seem to be about double the price so I'm trying to determine if it's worth it for the 2-3 times a year I run down the strip.

For you limited drag time I would save your money and get a cheap set of rears to swap. Just shy of 700 rwhp and 1.6 60's and mine have only moved an inch or so on an 18" Weld.

20 years ago we used to just drill holes in our beads and use rim screws to keep the slicks from moving on the wheel. Worked nearly as well on our hp levels and was a hell of a lot cheaper than beadlock wheels.
