Question about ******** box
is there a difference in the 12" and the 10" box other than the opening. reason why im asking is because my friend is upgrading his system from 1 speaker to the two speaker setup. and i have a 12" speaker and he has a 10" box

Depending on the box, chambering has a lot to do with it as well. If you are talking about the side boxes the volume will be different I believe.

The 12" box requires you to cut the carpet on the tide to get it to fit deeper into the side for the extra volume needed. You can buy a new carpet pieces for $45 I do believe to replace it if you decide to later remove the box.
