The L99 rev limiter is set at 6250 rpm. The LS3 is set higher, but I'm not sure by how much.

LS3 is 6700 I believe. On the dyno mine cut off at 155 mph which was before the rev limiter. I have the stock tune on my other computer to verify settings, but can't access it until this evening.

I always thought it was 7000 rpm's for the LS3. I have the L99, but I did an LS3 conversion and the tuner didn’t change the limiter.

I'll get a screen shot of the RPM cutoff in a couple hours.

Unless there is another setting for cutoff this is from my LS3.

6700. I believe the reason for the l99 being lower is because of solid stem valves that are heavier than the hallow stem valves found in the ls3.

i dont think its 7k. when ted did my tune, he told me one of the things (amongst a bunch of others) that i would notice is that he raised the rev limiter to 7k (implying it was lower).
I havent gotten to 7 (6500 is the highest ive gone) since the engine is asking for the next gear right there. Just listen and feel your motor. She'll tell you as how high she wants to scream
