Color shift halos in the works

So I'm getting my color shift halos installed at true bliss customs and honestly, I have never been so excited about a mod before haha. It will be done after Christmas, so I will put up pictures when it's all finished. Going to be taking both the camaros there I'm just unsure about the remote so if any one has it, input would be greatly appreciated!

Request RF unit, not a huge fan of the IR.

Should've gone to Antidote, if the place you bought them from & having them installed can't give you any advice about the remote, what's that say about them?

That's not what he said at all.

Well I just got the kit installed at Antidote and everything was explained to me thoroughly by the shop and they answered all my questions and made all recommendations....Didn't make me leave there to come to a forum to ask questions.

I was at Antidote today. Great guys. When I get the funds for the lighting stuff I want I'll likely go to them.

I think the OP's car is still having the stuff installed. He could be curious as to if he should carry the remote with him or leave it in the car. He was pretty vague. That's all I'm saying.

I'll agree with you there about Antidote being great guys, glad you could see that. As consumers we have a lot of choices, and when businesses really care about their customers it makes a difference. Regarding the OP question, if that's what he's asking, even though I've only had the kit a few days, I also have Oracle lighting behind my grille, each with it's own remote, so now I have another remote for the Halo kit, I just leave it in the center console. It's about 2" x 3" with very easy to read buttons, so you can change colors while you're driving and if you're parked at a show then keep in your pocket and put on a show. I'll agree he was vague about the remote, and Jake from Antidote gave his suggestion about going with the RF unit. That's why I said what I said, when I left Antidote I felt like an expert as to what I was getting & also a friend.

I have had the AAC color shift halo's in my car for over a year and still have problems dialing in colors. I see the videos and all but still hard for me to do. I have the basic colors pre set (red, blue, green, amberish color). I would like to get a yellowish color and others.

The ir controller is known to be a pain in the ass to dial in, but once you get it they're pretty solid.

We like using our RF setup, 8 colors that have individual buttons on credit card type remote, as well as 8 different preset color modes!

I was going to say time for a road trip, but unless your car floats that might be tough.

Hey you could live in worse places!

Maybe because I forgot to ask the guy, so I came here to ask and get a quick response. Ever think about that?

I was going to take it to antidote however, this guy is right by my house and antidote is a few hours away. Plus, this guy is doing it for an amazing price

I had noticed on the oracle website that there was an option to purchase an additional remote so I wanted to know if it was worth buying.
