I've seen this look on some ricer cars too and I think that it looks ridiculous. IIRC it's a style that originated with the Yakuza in Japan.
IMHO, if someone wants to make their car look like crap while driving on 10% of their tire tread then whatever. Just don't complain to me about how crappy it rides going down the road, having traction/handling issues, or about why a tire shop won't warranty your tires after they blow or wear funny because they are mounted like that! /rant |

Camaro owners do some pretty stupid things also... Like putting on a billion badges and a million LED lights.. Lets be honest here folks. You're not better then anybody because you have a Camaro.
