Forgot to mention that what I posted earlier was an internal email from district Mgr to dealer. Not sure why he would mislead them.

OK I'll be more specific. When I say he showed me.on his computer I mean there was a page where it showed the allocation was available. I don't know what they call it. They delivered a manual ZL1 back in December so I know they weren't lying. My concern was if they had an allocation and didn't use it for my car if they enter it in February or March will it get picked up or did they lose their chance on ordering because I didn't pick a car back then.

If they never sold it or traded it to another lot, I would say they still have it to use, but that's just a logical guess. That's a good question for Becky.

They could very well have A ZL1 ALLOCATION which is what they probably showed you. Here is the question, was it for manual or auto transmission?

It shouldn't matter as long as its in phase 2 you have the option to specify although it sounds like the factory is focusing on A10 at this run.

I was there right after Xmas so that would have been the 27-29th. That's all part of phase 2. He knows I wanted the auto. They sold the first manual to someone else when I turned it down.

Dealers do not know if its allocation is for M6 or A10 until just prior to the DOSP..... they just know its a ZL1 allocation.....

Nobody's really asked yet but how long before the allocations are lifted? Did they exist throughout the Gen V model.

That seems crazy to me on several levels and not reasonable to the dealer or customers wanting to order the car. My dealer has two customers ready to buy A10's both (me included) will bail on a M6.

Unfortunately with the A10 just starting to be produced, there are a limited quantity..... the December DOSP ZL1 cycle there were 89 coupe 10 convertible A10's available to order, a total of 99..... this time around there may be more available..... we will have to see......
