Just got a ticket for doing 89 in a 45. This 45 is on a highway too and on this road people regularly do 80. He comes up to the window and says is it the six or eight and then walks away comes back with a ticket that I

need to go to court for too. FML

Well damn dude, what did you expect? Why such a rush?

I mean I drive about 7 over and that is pushing it, but at least you have time to slow down to like 5 over which they don't mind. You have no chance at double the speed limit.

Better get your flame suit on lol.

Idk why the limit is so low its a 3 LANE EXIT off the highway that joins 2 OTHER LANES. So there is 5 lanes running along the highway for about 2 miles before it gets to the actual city streets. I'm not going to lie it was wide open so I punched next thing i know i saw headlights turn on and cops were behind me. I probably was doing roughly 89.

the officer said he gives people 20 to 30 over depending on how he feels that day. well it was 3 squad cars though but it was pitch black

Officer said it'll probably be around $500

That will be cheap Insuspect compared to insurance with your next renewal. Not sure about. Florida but here in. Michigan you get yourself a lawyer to plead it down to a non moving violation and it costs you the final fine plus 200 bucks. Cheap.

Get a lawyer, got my ticket reduced to no points and fine only. I have an out of state license or would have most likely gotten it all waived. Friend has gotten all 4 tickets and fines waived with a lawyer here in Florida as well but he has a fL licenses

take some responsibility for YOUR actions, who cares how fast others were going YOU got caught.. Man up..

I have never received a speeding ticket I didn't deserve...
