What types of oil and oil filters are you using on high mileage 10-12 Camaro 2SS V8?

What types of oil and oil filters do you run on you're high mileage 2010-2012 Camaro 2SS 6.2L V8?

As long as you change it regularly with quality components it really doesn't matter,

Mine has 80k plus miles. Using Delco PF 48 and lately PF 48E filters, and Mobil 5W-30.

All by the book. Oil changes have been either using the oil life indicator or once a year, depending on circumstances.

After 12 years, no discernible oil consumption.

Really, it's whatever you choose, just change it when needed. I've used it all. I currently use vr1 and upf48r.

Sumbitch, that’s a lot of miles on any motor! Good to know.

AMSOIL 10W40 Zrod with WIX or K&N Filters.
However, I track mine in the hot summers and was recommended to use at least 5W40 for hot track work.
Was using AMSOIL 5W30 before then.
I also change my oil halfway through track season with about 1500-2000 miles on the oil.

But that is specific for me and my use case. Like most have said already, changing the oil regularly with good oil/filters is the more important then what you use.

Honestly it's been the most reliable car I'v owned, and a blast to drive. I worried about the l99 but have not had any of the issues others seem to have had.

I use Mobil 1 5W-30 and WIX WL 10255 or K&N 2011, they are a little bit bigger filter. Maybe it helps maybe it don't, but it can't hurt in my opinion!
