What's the issue with gateway, it's on the illinois side in madison, Il, according to what I am seeing, isn't it and Illinois has a conceal carry statute.

Illinois does have a concealed carry law now, but other state's concealed carry licenses do not apply in IL. Fire Arms transported in IL must be in an enclosed case, unloaded. And also best if not immediately accessible.

Beech Bend Raceway isn't booked that weekend though. That is where LS Fest is held; drag racing, autoX, vendors alley, car show all in one place.

True, though I think there may be a lot of unhappy people if it's that far East. |

Agreed. That will happen no matter were it's held. Just that with BG and Vegas there will be less of that overall according to how the voting has turned out.

Okay we have this discussion every year ! So if somebody has a real good computer and some experience in government districting, we can do what cook county, ILL has played with for years. you divide the country into six regions, North, South, East, West and Middle. you look at the Members locations according to their sign ins and you draw lines on a map to accomodate a close approximation of numbers of members in each section that are EQUAL. then you look at the history of this event and determine what section you have left out , if any? Then you put it on an automatic cycle so it alternates to make the fairest decision for the masses.. that's my 2 cents Oh and yes the lines will be redrawn from time to time if the membership add ons and dropp offs require it to do so. we may have someone in the club who has experience with this type of thing and can assist with his or her knowledge.
