Oil Pan TSB
Hey guys, Can someone refresh my memory on a TSB related to the oil pan on LT1 motors? I seem to recall something about this but do not remember the details. My motor is currently out of the car so it's a perfect time to check my pan.

there was something to do with the steering box bolt. not sure about an oil pan. I think during the first runs there was a pick up tube or something, but wasn't very many I believe. I could be wrong.

I believe it was oil cooler lines.

There was a bulletin about the bolts holding the pickup tube in the pan. If I remember correctly if your pan had raised numbering it was faulty but if the number was stamped in you were fine.

Thanks, Puddin. You are correct, the pans with cast p/n were suspect, stamped were ok. I remember it now that u refreshed my memory. I'll check my pan when I get home.
