Every single piece of the Z\28 will be available on the GM Performance catalog. so when it comes out you will be able to purchase those.

im pretty sure they will, but i guess if the demand is there, some one will try and replicate them or come up with something similar like the ZL1/1LE wheels.

I think they are awesome!
Definitely need those huge rotors backing them up though.

Looks aside, what makes the Z/28 wheels special is weight or should I say lack of weight. The Z/28 wheels weigh about the same as the best racing wheels, but have been designed and tested to pass the pot hole and curb tests of an OEM. I am sure there will be knock off similar looking wheels, but will they be as good as the OEMs?

Well there is a thread on here that shows the z/28 rims on the catalog but the price has not been released yet! http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=314522

They weigh about 25 pounds in the front and the rear are about 26 pounds but I believe that's an unconfirmed data.

i think a lot of the draw to those wheels is those huge carbon creamic brakes behind them. id like to see a set off the car.

I would hope that they would be lighter than that?!?!? I know those weights are unconfirmed as of yet, but that really isn't that light.....especially for a 19" wheel. But I'll admit, they do look bad-@$$!!!!

Ya I was kinda disappointed to see those numbers too! But at the same time kinda happy because they won't be as much $$$$. I am holding off buying my rims until the confirmed weight and price come out with these Sick rims

Hmmm, lets see, they are probably only planning to build 200 or 300 or even a 1000 Z28's, and the ZL1/1LE wheels were roughly $4k+ if you could get them, so given that relatively few who buy a Z28 would sell the wheels, it leaves only GM to buy them from, sure, they will be cheap and plentiful for everyone who wants them....LOL
