How sad :(.......
Well it's official, my car is considered a lemon after the 10th time in service. The tech guy said they have tried everything and the original problem can not be fixed and more problems are arrising instead. I have had the car for 8 months now with only 3800 miles and did a number of mods. I am depressed but I am tired of taking it in and not having a car to drive all the time. My question is, does anyone know how the lemon law works? I already have a lawyer and GM have already reponded but now he is requesting a Release of Lien to be signed and I am not understanding what that is. If any can clarify it or help out that would be great! Just thought I'd share a pic too of the car after I washed it today :/...

Sorry to hear about that. Are you planning on getting another one. Even though you had the rotten luck of getting a lemon these are great cars and hopefully you'll get it replaced with a new one.

I lemon lawed my chevy truck yrs ago,I filled out the paperwork and I think it was $45 and sent it off, month later a gm rep flew in to check out my truck and found it was inexcusable of how the dealer took care of the problem, he then told me I could either go pick out a new truck or have another dealer fix the problem or give me my money back I told them I want my money back, so he asked if I had done anything aftermarket which I had done duel exhaust, window tint and wheels tires, so he asked for the total I told him it was $2600 and he said drive the truck and gm would call me in a few weeks, they called me after around 3 weeks told me to drop off the truck at the dealer and when I did they handed me a check for $2600 and took the keys.

I hope they will pay the full amount you paid and not just the balance due to the bank. In 2006 I had some problems with a Pontiac G6 GTP manual tranny...after fighting for 6 months GM agreed to swap the car for an automatic (just before going to a Lemon Law equivalent Court here in Canada). So I kept the same sales contract and they just changed the car identification. This way I did'nt loose any payment neither the interests I paid. And I got 6 additional warranty on my car since it's been put on the road after.
So if you don't want to loose money, I beleive that a SWAP is the best thing to do. I also had to sign a waiver so I could'nt sue GM for collateral damages.
