2014 Spring Edition RS Tail Light / condensation

Hi Everyone

I have a fogged tail light on my 2014 Camaro. It still have bumper to bumper for 1 more month however GM refuses to replace this.

So I took the back plug off hoping to expose the inside and try to air it out. However it seems its just a plug vs any kind of bulb...

is there anyway to open this up and dry it out ?

Thanks
Greg

Take the taillight out and drill a couple small holes on the backside of taillight so it can not be seen this is an old trick that worked on my old Grand Prix.

You can take the tail light out and bake it in the oven at a low temp to release the glue, and reseal the tail light but that seems sorta lame that Chevy won't replace that defective item.

Yea that definitely seems like it should be covered under warranty. I bet they'd replace it if say the circuit board had shorted out and the LEDs no longer functioned. *wink wink*

Is it the dealer or GM who is refusing to fix it? If its the dealer I would call and complain to GM. I ask because the dealer is not GM is all.
