Also all the Torque Management controlling the shifts causes a lot of the inconsistency.

I do agree it's not a perfect transmission, it does have a few quirks, but I have yet to drive any GM automatic that I would ever classify as "Perfect". If you want perfect, then buy a M6 and shift thing yourself, that way the only thing to blame on poor shifts is yourself. Lol
Damn your A8 chirps in the first 3 gears??? Wow I havent tried manual mode yet since getting it tuned I will now lol. (Your are in manual mode when chirping like that right, if not I'm getting mine retuned lol)

My bolt on/e85 SS will roast the stock tires on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.
The Michelin’s ps4s I hav won there now (305s) grip a lot better but will still spin on the 1-2 and chirp the 2-3.

Manual or auto mode

Yep chirps the tire even on the 3-4 In any mode...even with 305/35/20 drag radials.

Here is a vid of me doing a launch. You have to have the speakers up loud to hear it crack the tires on the first 3 shifts because the video was filmed from a distance. You can tell it doesn't shift anything like a stock A8 lol
