Got a deal on some head.

So GPI had a killer deal ,I think, on head porting. So I naturally had to buy some. I installed their SS4 cam and their rod-mod intake earlier this year. A week ago I got a diff built by GPI with 4.11s true trac Hendricks diff bushing and LPW cover. Can anybody that went cam then heads tell me what was the major difference in your car after the heads.

Based off the title, I expected this post to be different than it is.

Ok the title was kinda clickbait-y. But seriously what did y’all think of the heads.

Don't know if the rod mod intake will be a good choice once you add heads but otherwise that'll be a very solid combo!

I did my cam and heads with a few other things so it’s hard to say what differences were due to what. You’ll have to let us know how you like the 4.11’s with the true track and that cover. I’ve been considering doing the same thing but I have 3.91’s. Seems like a pretty bulletproof setup if you’re not making crazy power.

Why do you say that? Once this round of mods is sorted I’m hoping to get a LOD intake.

Yea most of what I have been reading everybody went heads and cam at once.
I have the stock 1le 3.91s and hoping to help coax her out of the hole a little better with the 4.11 I should have it in tomorrow if all goes well. I’ll be sure to report back.

I believe most people are cam only as opposed to heads/cam. I could be wrong but I would guess 60/40. I would like to get cylinder heads eventually. Or put a Maggie on it. Who knows

Because ported and modified heads will want more air than a rodmod manifold is capable of supplying. The LOD is a great choice
