I was being sarcastic at $10. I’ll say this. There’s only one reason why we buy oil from other countries and not drill it out of ours. Cheap labor. Period. It’s cheaper to buy overseas and ship it here than for us to extract it paying American wages. Money. Greed. Power. Three words that form our country and will always continue.

But enough about country dilemmas. Drive the care. Sit the car. Sell the car.

$3.69 to $3.89 here now. I remember paying $5 for diesel and making a hell of a lot less money then. I'll survive.

At some point I guess I'd just switch to e85 if it got really bad. Looks like that makes more and more sense the higher gas prices go. Luckily the Camaro is now a weekend car so this doesn't really affect me.

Thank you and I’m sorry my European, Camaro brethren. But these ‘privileged’ (insert LOL here) Americans in my country whining over $3.89 is funny. Here in the last bastion of the pandemic, California, it’s been $5+ for premium for almost 3 months.

Of course, we do drive with Designer Gas here. It smells like fookin’ rose farts out of that beautiful, poppin’ exhaust.

I too thought E was cheap until I actually looked........ at the time premium was 3.85. E was 3.75. Not a savings at all considering E gets less mpg.

At the station near me:

93: 4.959
E(65-85): 2.849

No limit for me. I love this car way too much. Unfortunately, my Escalade gets the same mileage as my Camaro, right around 11.5 mpg. Problem is, the Escalade has a huge tank and costs over $100 to fill.

I may just drive the Lancer a bit more as it gets over 30mpg. But my god is it boring.
