Well, that's not technically what I meant....I knew what I was thinking. Lol
I was referring to the hold order or whatever it's called due to the recall. I was curious as to how long that is supposed to last?

Oh. I'm not sure honestly. It's just the airbag module so theoretically they should be able to fix it easily.

$37,550 MSRP, $34,345.51 after employee pricing for my Canyon.

Not bad.

Jealous. I try to see if my local GMC dealer has any Canyons when I drive by but haven't seen one yet.

I stopped in the other day to check out the new Canyon on my local lot. I like everything about this truck except for one (albeit petty) thing....the rocker panels. The way they are constructed and spot welded looks horrible to me and now that I've noticed them, it's all I see. I can't understand why they are put together this way, as the Sierra isn't. I snapped a picture in case you don't know what I'm referring to....

Trucks this size could and should become the next rage/fad. The rocker panels is a easy fix.

Yes, but I don't think I should have to fix anything on a brand new $35k truck. Like I said, it's probably a non-issue for most but I don't think I could live with it. Since noticing this, I have been paying closer attention to other manufacturers and none have that big of a lip on the rocker, let alone all of those uneven visible spot welds.

A simple piece of aftermarket molding will fix this.....and I do agree with you about having to fix it yourself.

The Jeep Wranglers are the same way. Slap on some Nerf bars/side steps and you will forget that they are even there.

Step bars are out of the question for me. I've never liked them or the way they look on a truck.
