Wife had a black 86 with red interior. Loved that car. Got conflicting views on whether the car was a 305 or 350 but most data points to 305. It was a TPI car with an auto. All I know is that there was not a mustang of that era that kept up with us stock for stock in town. Father in law bought it for her and swore it was a 350.

there was rumor of some 350 Iroc-Z's in 1986 being built, but i've never seen one or heard of anyone who has. |

I would get rid of the TPI and slap a LS3 in the bad boy with a modern Trans and have one hell of a sleeper
