I think it's normal. I don't have an LSD, and I had thick buildup on both my plugs at just over 30,000 miles.

Approaching 1500 miles soon and going to change the engine oil then.
Might as well as do the diff. also. Have a 2014 SS, and looking at recommendations for best oil/filter and rear diff. fluid I can purchase from local auto store. Thx |

So Im going to stick with Mobil 1..

Great write up. 👌 question by changing the Rear Diff do you notice a change in how the car now drives? Curious if there's a difference or not?

The RP has the additive in it, but I would just check the bottle to make sure as many don't have it, but yes you need an the additive for the limited slip diff in the SS.
