I have a question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Okay so I went in to the dealer in fec. looking to order my new camaro. Well i talked to the dealer and he was nice and everything told me what I needed to do and then told me I needed to put down a $500 deposit so i did. That was on Feb 25 and I was wondering if I was suppose to get anything in the mail or like something saying that it has been ordered because i havent heard anything from the dealer yet.

You should have gotten an order workbench printout when you ordered, if not I'd go back to the dealer and get one.

Also, the welcome packages take some time to get out... last I heard the time-frame is 60-90 days? Someone correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Other than that, its just a waiting game for when your order will be pulled for production.

If you have your receipt and your purchase order copy and your workbench order sheet, you're set. You can call your dealer for an update but as far as something in the mail, eventually you shouldget a pre-order kit which consists of, I beleive, a drawing of the Concept and a thank you letter or something. But as long as you have the first 3 you should be good.

okay well thats what i thought but its kinda complicated see I order it from the dealer in town which would be Billion buick but he had to send it to the Billion chevy dealer in sioux falls to order it because he couldnt or something like that. would that have any effect as of time delay or anything

Good luck with your welcome kit. LOL. Ordered mine in Oct 08. Still nothing, but who cares my car is here in a few days!!!

I had to put down $1,000 which i gladly did back on Oct. 16, 08 and just now went to 3000 as an event code.
