I'm back....

I posted this in the general section but decided i would probably get more feedback here.....
.Well I'm back after being gone for awhile. When I sold my 2010 2SS I had to buy a truck for work, then traded for a diesel and got back into the diesel performance world fora little bit and for the past 15 months I've been doing the jeep thing. I now have a job that will allow me to get back into a sports car and I'm between 3.... while I loved my 2SS it was a little heavy which I suppose could be rectified by more power lol. I'm looking now at a ZL1, a 1LE or a '13 Corvette Grandsport. I like the 6.2 which is why I don't really want a Z06. Which ever I get well get an ECS big blower cam and trick heads along with a 3" exhaust. I plan on a Hellion TT kit for the 1LE or a procharger for the GS but the ease of the ZL1 already being s/c is tempting but I'm uncertain of the which will better suit my desires. I intend on going to TX2K16 and would like a quick 700+HP car. I like the weight and aerodynamics of the vette but I'm in love with the Camaro. The ease of turning up the boost on a TT car is tempting and the hellion kit with a little meth injection will do as intended so I guess my question is...... what do yall think? Which will best suit what I'm looking for?

GS with an F1-X. That would be the fastest.

Id do the 1LE hellion Twin! Or the ZL1 and just do a bit of work to it and your forsure hitting your 700wheel mark, Lots of great builds showing outta that blower setup.

I figure if I capped it at 700ish the GS would be the easy choice but the possibilities the hellion kit offers is IMO above that of an F1. Seems like even if I built the GS to a 415ci I would still just be in the 800 hp range whereas if I did the same with the hellion kit the 1XXX range is not inconceivable.

While I like the added fuel and beefier parts associated with the ZL1, I fear finding the limits of the stock charger rather quickly. I wonder what would be involved in making the ZL1 hellion capable? Just the intake manifold and removal of the stock s/c system?

Hellion low kit, sure. Hellion top kit would top out on power before an F1. You can only push so much air through 2.5" downpipes.

Dual 2.5" will tap out probably 950ish, dual 3" taps out around 1500rwhp, but the bottom mounts are easy to swap to dual 3.5" if you wanted 1800-1900rwhp.

Whole accesory drive has to be swapped on the zl1. Other than that, throw some twins on and make 900-1000 if you have fuel to support it.

I think the vette has many advantages. Stronger rear, hooks great on stock suspension, and much lighter. My car at 1000rwhp was trapping 10+mph faster than camaros/ctsv at 1000rwhp at the 1/2 mile. Any of them can make big power, but hard to get the aero/weight of a vette.
