so all you do is push or pull those lil knoby things?..that seems vastly boring..
not to mention it'd probably wear out your steering wheels' finish having to rotate your hand in that motion so often... am I missing something?.. I don't mean to sound rude but, man those seem boring...

Do you have a link to the article from inside line? I can't seem to find it on their site. GM estimated it was going to be like 4.2 ish. I would quote the post but I have no idea where I read it.

This is a 2009 cts-v automatic with paddle shifters. If you look, you can see that there is no push part on the steering wheel, leaving me to assume that its the kind of paddle shifters that i like (pull on right side to upshift and pull on left to downshift).
See what i mean?

Every car that I've seen: Pulling on the right side of the wheel, you go from 1sst to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, etc. Pulling on the left side of the wheel is going from 4th to 3rd, 3rd to 2nd, for corners. Ferrari has an elongated right paddle for coming out of hairpins, you can still comfortably reach the paddle while the wheel is still turned. |
