LFX safe max rev limit while on road course?

Hi all, I'm not new to road racing or tuning cars and have a quick question about the durability of the LFX engine and max safe rev limit while road racing.
I've installed a Hypertech 2.0 programmer that allows you raise the rev limit a bit. I know the Hypertech isn't the fav tune/tuner of choice but having previously built a car from the ground up using a Haltech Elite EMS I'm going for a more subdued approach this time around.
For those folks that regularly track your car and have the ability to do so what's the max safe rev limit you go with? I've read anywhere from 7-7500 is what people run with around 7200-7300 deemed perfectly safe. I also know peak HP is about 6800 rpm stock so revving it much higher than that won't gain much. My main reason is not having to upshift on certain long sweeping corners at my local track. Revving the engine out is much more preferable than upshifting in the middle of a fast uphill sweeper. A few extra hundred rpms would help me get through it without shifting.

Stick or auto kinda hard to get a true fix on that and with what your saying about peak at 6800 I would think limit it around 7000-7200. It I run a LS3 I normally shift around 6k depending on gear. Not winning any trophies so no reason to kill it.
