Strut Brace Fitment
Hi,
Will a strut brace from a 2017 ZL1 fit on a 2013 2SS??
I have the stock SS hood on my 2013.

Ok,
Seller just said it came off a 2017 Camaro SS, not a ZL1.
Will that make a difference and possibly fit?????

Yea the 5th and 6th gens are both different platforms and wheelbases and widths. Nope, won't work.

Thanks all it's a no go for sure, so I'll be looking for one for a 2011-2015.
My friend had that one I mentioned from his 2017 he traded in.

Ken, honestly, a Strut tower bar likely isn't going to do anything for performance, however, it will look cool.

Yes sir!! I have seen a lot of "redneck" inventions over here. We have a lot of country boys around, and they come up with some pretty weird stuff!!

Won't do much for performance, but after I installed mine and I took her for a ride, I did notice it "firmed up" the front a bit more in the suspension, took some of the flex out of the shock towers and felt tighter, to me anyway. And I drove her everyday so I could tell something with it was better.
