I Would Buy this if I could!

So I'm not trying to sell this, but my fiancé came across a deal when getting his Silverado oil changed in Michigan. It's a great deal, a demo with low miles, good price, and my favorite color!

If you check it out mention me..........I might get some "brownie points" at the dealership!

Doesn't seem confusing to me, they are passing along what they think is a good deal if anyone is interested.

A two year old 6th gen convertible for nearly $40K? What's so good about that?

Also, why post this on a 5th gen forum when most of us, well a significant number, think 6th gens are kinda fugly?

A soon as you drive that thing off the lot, you're looking at almost two years worth of depreciation right off the bat. At that price, you can step into a nice low miles 5th gen ZL1 or maybe a '14-'15 Z28 for just a couple of thousand more.

Z/28 for the win in my book.

I didn't say it was a great deal, I said they think it is. Or maybe they some other motive.

I'm not blaming you. It's obvious her "husband" or someone in the "family" is getting a cut on the deal from the blatant advertising post that she just made.

I was expecting a nice Hot Wheels edition 5th gen or ZL1 or even a Z28 or something. Instead, we get a pic of a two year old 6th gen, a goofy convertible no less, for nearly $40K.

I guess I was just expecting something a little better for that "great deal" of $40K. lol.

I take back my semi defense of the post anyway. It looks liked it was posted in four different places, at least, here and camaro6. So yeah, spam.

Hey! Ease up there partner. While I agree about all you have stated, I have to pull you back on the part about the "goofy convertible." My SS is a convertible, and there's nothing "goofy" about it.

It's a dealer demo most likely. I got my 2015 SS new at a larger discount...

Oh no, I didn't mean convertibles are goofy. They look great on the 5th gen. I just meant the 6th gen looks more goofy to me in the convertible model.

Some convertibles look great like the 5th gen. I do realize the 5th gen, both coupe and convertible, is a hard act to follow. They pretty much nailed it in almost every respect IMO.
