I live in Texas which requires the front plate as well... I refuse to put one on.... I have been stopped twice by Texas DPS Troopers and was let off both times with a warning !!

Hmm, that is interesting. My dealer (Paul Masse) did just the opposite, they told me that they never put on the front plate unless specifically asked to do so by the customer. I like having the freedom to make my own choice. If I am forking over 40k I better have a say in what the dealer is doing with my car lol.

I have mine on flipside of passenger sunvisor, just flip it down when stopped and give him the bracket story about my new bumber. Its the cops who are doing the complaining to legislators. Especially now, because when they come at you headon their camera scans your plate and their computor tells them everything about your cars reg and driving habits if your ever stopped for violations.

I have a front plate. The dealer asked if I wanted one or not. I told them to put it on because I have been pulled over for not having a front plate in other vehicles.

AGREED!! There will not be a plate on the front of my car. CT doesn't even require registration stickers anymore.

I cut up my plate mount and welded it into the lower grille. It's odd 'cause I've had a few people comment on my plate number and never figured it out untill someone enlightened me
