Those who installed a Metco DS loop w/Man. Trans.
Question is - how centered was the drive shaft to the loop when installed. I have an aftermarket ds that requires the extension piece and the ds is within a 1/2" (enough to slide a finger through) of the passenger side of the loop if this going to be enough clearance? I have maxed out my adjustments on the loop, which isn't much by the way.
My driveshaft is close to the pass side of the tunnel all the way back to the diff. Any one else experience this? Thanks!

I dont have the loop on mine, however with that said, these cars have an IRS not a solid axle so the drive shaft doesn't move up and side or side to side with the suspension (bushing deflection aside for the cradle/diff) so I cant see 1/2" being not enough. The companion flange would probably break off if the driveshaft could move that much so IMHO you should be fine.

I think you will be fine Brad, 1/2" should be enough.
