Thanks, definitely good to know from someone who has them installed! A lot of the resellers are wrong and I remember people going back and forth in this forum many months ago related to this issue.

Like? I don’t like my F1FTY. I love my F1FTY!

As with any new car/body style there are issues. But I don’t feel any of them are deal breakers.

I'm loving my car. Yes some people have had bad experiences. Myself, I have had a few "new car" issues that were promptly repaired to my satisfaction. Some were self created as well through mods.

Overall my advice is not more around issues with the car but the thorough vetting of the dealership. Do they service a lot of Camaros and Vettes? This would demonstrate they have in house expertise. I also spend time with the Service Manager asking them if possible to assign me one of their service advisers. This lets us build a relationship of trust and respect. This has worked out very well for me as they go to bat for me with the Techs when I come in with a problem (like the transmission flush).

I used a metal punch, just a hair smaller in diameter. Be very careful, those caliper are painted! Doesn't take much effort to move them, then they come right out. Especially if you take the spring pressure off.

I bought a $5 set of punches from HF and used a small ball peen hammer.

I just picked mine up a few weeks ago. I can't wait to get up and go to work every morning just so I can drive it. Chevy did an incredible job on this car. Congratulations, I'm sure you'll love it!
