Lightbulb Noisy lifters fix ?

Maybe somebody had a deal with this trick ? I have ticking / clicking noise on cold engine while driving only. I am going to add 1 quart of ATF Dextron 4 and drive for a 1000k miles.

Here dude adds Diesel oil 15w50 and Dextron 4 for a 20 mins and then with a new oil all sounds are dissappeared.

I think that is a good trick to try as ATF is very good in cleaning small oil passages etc. But I wouldn't leave the ATF for 1000k miles in the engine. Why not do it just before oil change, drive with the ATF short time and replace with correct high quality oil?

yes you're right. will try atf dextron 4 because it has more washing additives.

Could exaust gasket be a reason of ticking / taping noise while driving ?

Exhaust leak can sound ticking or tapping in some situation, but it varies a lot depending on engine load and between cold / hot engine.

Lifter tick should be same no matter what the load, can vary with oil temp of course.
