Aftermarket rims that fit a 315 wide tire, is 11-11.5 in good?

Hey guys I was looking at the nitro nto5r drag radial tires and was wondering if anyone knew about after market rims that are 11-11.5 in wide and if that size is good enough for the tires? Have a 2010 camaro ss

The recommended rim size for that size tire is 11in. wide, but the range is from 9-11, but if it is for a drag radial then always go with the intended size rim. If you do not it will crown the tire in the middle and the entire tire will not make contact and will not hook to its full potential. Check tirerack.com and find the tire you want and click on specs, in the specs it will list the rim ranges and recommended sizes.

The recommended wheel width for the Nitto NT05R (315/35R20) is 10.5" - 12.5". So, an 11.0" to 11.5" wheel will fit fine, although I think 11.0" is about the widest I've seen installed on a Camaro, not sure if an 11.5" will fit (the offsets would have to be dead perfect!).

Only if you tub the car, or have them sticking out the side can you fit a 11.5 I.D. rim.

Be ready to spend 3-6k to be able to run that tire on that size rim!

Just stick with an 11.0" wheel and you'll be fine....
