Griots is a much better unit, I myself am a PC owner as well, but I as well as a slew of detailers vouch for the Griots.....if you want to test their durability side by side I'm all for it....
Heck I'll even induce some swirls into my own paint (as well as some scratches on a panel)....

The Griots have:
Lifetime warranty from the factory, more durable motor,
Has much more power than a PC too..

Currently 2 PC's have gone bad on me (Shaft)
Still on the first Makita

I just watched some videos using the PC. It looks pretty easy to use. Plus I think its made by Black & Decker so I can probably get a discount since I work for them lol.

On a more successful note the matte black detailer for the stripes works well, blends and has a uniform slightly deeper finish.
I don't remember if I recommended the matte black detailer to you or someone else, but I've got some from them for my matte black vinyl. Works great! I don't use it every wash either. Doesn't need it each time.

But with a PC for a Novice you CAN NOT BURN YOUR PAINT....and it works really good...How much is this one J.

Both are DA's so you can't burn paint...the griots is 116
Think of the PC being an SS and the Griots as a ZL1

I dont either, talked to one of the guys there about it. Also blends some in where a bit of wax stained the small stripes.
