Had a Good time yesterday... Took My Wife to Punta Gorda To the fisherman's Village & Ate Lunch & Drank By the water at Harpoon Harry's... Great food & Great view! Drinks were real good too. we had a special rum drink we had with the local Cape coral Rum called Wicked Dolphin...Good stuff! This could be a meet spot for Tri-county in the future... Just have to Find out about parking First...

Yep, we'll meet at Cracker Barrel at I-75 and Palm Beach Blvd. I'll post the time tomorrow.

"Camarovan" will be leaving from the Cracker Barrel Restaurant at the intersection of I-75 and Palm Beach Blvd (4260 Boatways Rd, Fort Myers, FL, US, 33905) at 7AM. For those accessing I-75 further north of Palm Beach Blvd, let us know and we'll let you know what time we will be passing your exit.

If you will be racing, don't forget your helmet (there are a couple for rent at the track if you need one), wear long pants and closed toe shoes.

Bring lawn chairs, coolers, snacks (food is also available at the concession), sun tan lotion, hats, family, friends; everything you need to enjoy a day at the races.



Rumor has it that one of Tri-County's own, Mike Daniel (Bad Dad) will be running his 9 second monster. That's a show you won't want to miss!!!!

Florida Camaro Meet & Picnic Lunch
Several Camaro clubs from across the state are gathering on Saturday, 21 June 2014, to enjoy the day together at a community park.

We have been invited to join the group. At last count, they are expecting approximately 35 Camaros and their families.

3407 East Landstreet Rd, Orlando, Fl 32827 (near the northwest corner of the airport)

Food will be provided but the organizers are asking that we bring Sides! Drinks! & Desserts!

If you will be able to attend please respond by posting here, or the First Coast Camaro Club's thread at http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=360484 and let everyone know what you will be bringing.

Bring lawn chairs, hats, ice chests, sunscreen and whatever else you may need to comfortably spend the day outside.

Although this is not being billed as an overnight trip, several of us from the SWFL area are planning to spend the night at:

La Quinta Inn & Suites Airport North (7160 North Frontage Road, Orlando FL 32812; three miles from the park.)

We were careful to find a place in a safe neighborhood and it looks like the La Quinta fits the bill perfectly.

The rate is $82 for a room with one king bed or two double beds. I asked for a military discount (no doubt they offer other discounts) and the rate was $72.16.

If you think you might be staying the night, I'd recommend you secure a room today as room availability is limited. If you find later you can't spend the night, you can cancel the room at no charge up until 6pm on the 21st.

I will be passing this time coming back from Venice yesterday developed a noise in rear end going to stay off the highway, guess I will have to drop the center section to get inside to see what is going on. could very well be a pinion bearing failing.
May just be time for the strange rear end, just know thats a good hit

John you don't have to take the Camaro up to the track Sunday... I'll come pick you up, if you want to come... I'm probably not taking my Camaro either since I'm not running it... I can come pick you up in My wife's Trailblazer Sunday Morning... I think we all want to see Mike's Monster Go Down the track!!!.... Let me Know..
