Had a blast over the weekend.

BTW I am Eric and new to Tri County Camaro.

Here is a pic of my ride.

After visiting Spook Hill on the way home yesterday…

Saw this tricked out Mustang on the way home.

A Shot of all the Camaros on Saturday

CONGRATULATIONS Eric on being the newest member of Tri-County; the best Camaro club in the country I sent you a club logo via email you can use as an avatar on this site and I also sent you the information to order shirts, hats, etc.

Dave, (Daveagogo), please post the picture of Eric's R's car on Tri-County's Member Bios page (http://www.tricountycamaros.com/member-bios). Thanks...by the way I heard you had a blast up in Tennessee. If you get a chance, please post some pictures/videos.

Sorry you couldn't make it this past weekend. You would have had a blast!!!!

How soon will you have Bubba back on the road?

There was a whole herd of Camaros at the meet and maybe there was another with modern rally wheels...but I don't think so (no copycats close by so far). There are two more sets out there but I don't know where they are:

Going to fix this one all new bearings and races plus tru-trac
I need to buy a daily driver and still sell this rear end when I upgrade it. It should handle the power I have for now.
I still have more in this rear then I should have put in it but that is hind sight.
Front pinion bearing was trashed I may have overheated it on its first trip home
Once you mess with that crush collar you have to pull it so I just opted to finish the upgrade with the Tru-Trac while I had it out.
Gear pattern was good and .007 backlash, just did not want to replace one bearing did them all. Pinion depth should not change with new bearing but backlash may with a different carrier, just depends on how close to spec the Tru-Trac was machined. Hoping I will retain .007 but if not I have carrier shims
Just a note on these bearings GM really likes them so take care of yours
They are made by ToYo but not listed anywhere but GM
The carrier Shims are actually the same as a 12 bolt
Scarry !! Im getting real good at pulling this out of the car even made a DSS drive shaft removal tool.

Just for my own insurance I did press the new inner bearing and shim on the pinion but until I check everything I wont use the new, crush collar, nut or outer bearing. I would not think pinion depth should change from the new bearings and races but my luck has never been great
I should have the new carrier bearings tomorrow so I can dry fit it .

Just another Grand but look how good I am getting at taking it apart........

OOOHHH If anyone needs a POSI UNIT with the JRE Clutch mod already installed I got one !!!!!!!!!!!
