I went to this sight & reset my tps . in reset mode horn blew twice then i started from LF. decreasing air pressure no horn beep i let out a lot of air so i went to RF. same no horn beep, than RR still no beep ended with LR. not a peep. got in car & was reading psi ,i shut off ing. reinflated tires , IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM

I have a 2010 lt and got a message about the tpms and did the relearn. All but one tire had the horn beep. Haven't reinflated to normal pressure yet but if the sensor is bad can I buy a new one from Auto parts store and have it installed and will it learn?

You don't need that tool to do the relearn . Read the instructions at the begining of this thread. 2012 and Up need the relearn tool.

After reading all the posts having the same issues as everyone else I decided to purchase the orange RE LEARN tool from Amazon. Just recvd it yesterday . Took about 1 minute and the TPMS was all RESET . Worked like a charm . !!!! Definitely worth the $20 spent .

Year Camaro 2014
Model Camaro 2LT/RS
Engine V6

Wheels used: Factory Camaro wheels/tires/scensors
Size 20 & 21"

Will this very same tool you mentioned work with the 20" & 21" even though the 21" came off from a V8 Camaro of a different year? Of concern is when I looked at the information relating to the VX DAS EL-50448 it shows the tool is good for 2010-2013? What about 2014?

I hope so?

This morning while I was in town I stopped at a local tire shop on Main Street, Havelock. In the past I have purchased tires from them as I found their work/prices both to be very good. Speaking with the service manager I asked several questions regarding TPMS tools. He showed me their relearn tool which was a KTI scanner, model KTI-71990. They usually get $25.00 to relearn your four tires, he gave me a break and done it this ONE time for free. Worked like a charm.

Still would rather have my own tool as I changed over wheels often. So... for that I am waiting for someone to answer my questions that are listed one post back.

In advance my many thanks to one and all.

Larry

Hey Larry . I have a 2015 1lt Camaro and I just recently install some 20 's on the vehicle that came off a V8 Camaro. These wheels were off a older model is Camaro . Don't remember the exact year . Model year might be even older . The tpms learning tool has more to do with how recent the tpms sensors are as opposed to the width of the tires . It recognizes the Tpm's sensors in the wheel base and commits it to memory. The orange tool that everyone's been talking about on Amazon is the one I purchased and it worked like a charm . Worse case scenario if it doesn't work you just ship it back . But if it does .it will be great . Good luck

Thank you very much for the post. I am going over and order one now. Better to have one than going around hoping someone will do it for free. Again thanks a bunch.

I also had tried the procedure on my 2014 and it didn't work. Followed the advise given on this thread and purchased from Amazon the VXDAS EL-50448 TPMS Relearn, reset Activation tool. It ran about $25.00 with shipping and WORKS like a charm. You use the tool ONE TIME and it's pad for it's self.

I like changing my wheels around occasionally so this tool will be used a few times. The tool is actually incased in rubber protection, still not for bouncing but protected somewhat in case you drop it!
