Just like anything in our society fads will come and go. I am 20 so I am a huge fan of the blacked out look. But I know alot of the old school die hard Chevy fans out there love your damn chrome ha. But like it was said in previous posts this look is a big hit with the younger generations. But that's what sets "my" generation apart from everyone else. I guess you could say we like to be different but I am sure when you guys were my age you werent all that different from me. I mean didnt you guys listen to music, dress a certain way, or drive cars that your parents absolutely hated.

And just wanted to clarify some misunderstandings on this thread a
Murdered out Ride:
Black paint with Low gloss (ie. satin/matte/flat black)
Black wheels with Low gloss (ie. satin/matte/flat black)
No Chrome whatsoever on the vehicle

Whereas blacked out refers do all black cars done in a gloss black. Heck even Harley is getting into that look! Also a big shout out to Fesler built. They are big into the all black look. But now I know this probably hasn't changed many of your minds just remember when you were that rebellious teen.

It's not new, it's just new to a new generation.

I had a '84 H.O. Z28 in dark silver with dark charcoal ground effects and dark charcoal wheels and serrated blackwalll Goodyear GT tires from the factory. No, this kind of thing is not going to go out of style.

And did you guys know that raised white letter tires go back to the 1920s?
