Shipping Camaro from New York to Minneapolis

Hey Everyone, I am moving from New York to Minneapolis and want to ship my Camaro. I have been online for about a month now and depending on which site I go to, most every car shipping company is rated high on one and slammed on the other... Has anyone shipped thier Camaro and if so any suggestions on which company to go with?

I requested a quote from them and got something like 6 or 7 responses back. Just wanted to know if anyone had used a company or would recommend a company...

I was thinking open...I'm surely not made out of money, so price is a bit of a factor...I wish I could afford to ship it enclosed :-/

is there any way you could just drive it?? thats what I would do..... even if you had to do what C586 suggested, the piece of mind would be worth it.

I have used Intercity Lines http://www.intercitylines.com/ a few times shipping my first gens enclosed (From Nevada to NY) and the service was excellent and always professional.
You can't go wrong with the big name places such as Intercity, Reliable, etc.

I will get the number this afternoon for you, most of the company's contract out to owner operators. Not sure if he heads that way but we had a gto shipped from Vegas to Ohio for I think 900 and he said just let him know next time and contact him directly and it would save the couple hundred that the company takes as commission. Gonna use him to ship my trans am out here.

I think I will look at both options, but you are absolutely right...driving it might be my best option...

BUT......if I had to take a chance with someone else and transport one of my cars....I wouldn't even think twice about handing over my crappy winter car over to someone. but my camaro? not a chance.
