I would look into that, but I have been out of the military for about 6 years now...I don't think they will do me any favors

You have several options to consider. The doors! You are restricted to the top of the trailer most likely. no matter where they put it on the trailer unless you are last pickup and first drop off, neither which is likely. Your car can get driven off that truck SEVERAL times before it get to your stop. Yes they will try their best to take care of it, but stuff happens. USHIP is a good idea, has its downsides too. But you can see it loaded on a smaller trailer with another car or 2 and odds are it wont need to be shuffled around to make the load legal weight. I think you can specify your car ships in certain trailers such as flatbed, car trailer or van.

Sell the other car and drive the Camaro. Put quarter flares and a clear bra on it for the trip though. Some of the roads you'll drive through might/will be poorly maintained.

You may be better off having someone on here drive it. Peace of mind, and security. Make a contract for both of you and sign it.

Western Auto Transport did an amazing job for me San Diego to Dallas.
http://www.westernautotransport.com/ I highly encourage you to go "enclosed". It's not really that much more $$$. The best part is they had a smaller pick up and delivery "window" than the others and the driver did a great job of keeping in touch with me. EDIT: ****oooops...... just saw you are driving it....
