I always keep my vert within sight. Never park next to other cars. She's a weekend driver, so I'm always around. People are curious and want to look, and I'm glad to let them. But some people are haters and they get jealous and take it out on the car.

Last week, I went to the store and parked in the furthest spots, in front of a 2011 Mustang GT Vert (using your philosophy). When I came out, there were 2 more Stangs, one on either side of me. They did it as a joke, and were very careful and friendly. They were all standing around my car just checking it out. Had a great conversation and learn some things about the Mustang (still like mine better...).

I'd never seen so many handicap spots in one town until I was in that area!

except at publix...they're filled up there from 8am-8pm. i just park way out in the lot by the employees parking.

I have a vette too and no matter were I park there is some A$$ that needs to park a foot way from it!
