Newbie !!!

Hey Everyone just wanted to stop in and say hi and thanks for allowing me to join adding me to the Camaro Family. I just recently bought a 2015 Z/28 with 9k miles and itís #307 Red w/air & stereo. Iím extremely happy and look forward to the future with this car.

A little about myself.. I just transferred from Northeast Ohio where I was born and raised to Bowling Green, Ky and I work at the Corvette plant and have been with GM for 23yrs now. I plan on tracking the car every now and then as well as hitting up all the local shows. Not knowing the area or the people around here I look forward to hopefully running into other members. Also any info on shows or track events would be great appreciated.

WELCOME! We need pics! You chose the fastest color, too.

Congrats on both the Z28 and the professional shift. You’ll have to tease us with some C8 info.
By the way, you chose the second fastest color. My Red Hot will not keep up with my SIM, nothing to do with the lfx vs. ls7.
Sorry to see you leave the north shore.

Welcome amego! Nice someone that works for GM. FYI, hey our Z/28 engines are made in Bowling Green, KY. Hey if you got any free C8 stuff send em this way....like shirts, caps, mugs, pins, rims, front bumpers, leather seats, engine parts, or what ever. By the time I turn 65, I'm going to have a Corvette one piece at a time....

I just raced in northeast Ohio a few weeks ago at dragway 42. The local group set up an amazing course. Not sure how much stuff there is to do in BG.

Fantastic choice. I really like the Red Zs! After watching Joelster's auto X video I'm convinced the color reduced his time by at least 2 seconds. (scroll down a few posts and see for yourself). Welcome aboard and don't be shy about sharing your knowledge pertaining to our GM products.

Welcome,
I'm about 2 hours north of you close to Fort Knox.
Your in a prime location with Beach Bend Race park and the awesome NCM road course.
Hope to meet up with you sometime as were close. Maybe fall as my summer is full.
Take care and stay safe
John
