Connecting the radar wiring to mirror- Please advise!
Hi All
New 1le owner here. I have just received the blendmount for my uniden r3. I’m sure I can figure it out but what color wires do I tap into. Black is ground for this vehicle -correct? and is purple the 12volt power source? Do I remove that plastic case and connect it to under there on the windshield just behind the mirror? Maybe there is a thread on here that already advises? Thanks in advance! Al |

I had to hook into the “passenger airbag” sign. No other options for ignition power from the mirror area for 2013, other years might be different. Some people just tap the fuse box and run a wire up the pillar.
